The Second Electoral Court admitted this Monday, June 10, the lawsuit for partial annulment of the election in the 8-2 circuit (San Miguelito) presented by the still deputy Zulay Rodríguez.
The lawsuit was filed for the counting of the votes recorded in the minutes of voting stations 4672, 4682, 4757, 4815, 4818, 4894, 4902, 4916 and 5114.
Rodríguez presented the lawsuit for Luis Omar Ortega’s proclamation of the Realizing Goals party.
According to Rodríguez, the National Scrutiny Board made an error in awarding the seat by remainder.
The still deputy, who is seeking re-election, stated that for three or four days she had won the seat according to the Unofficial Results Transmission System (TER).
However, he claims that 101 votes were taken from him, which he noted caused him to realize that the votes had been altered.
