Poltical and judicial payoffs in BOCAS???? No way, seems impossible. LMFAO
The deputy of the ruling Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD), Zulay Rodríguez, filed a complaint with the Electoral Prosecutor’s Office against her co-party member from Bocas del Toro, deputy Benicio Robinson; and two officials for the alleged purchase of delegates’ payroll with State resources.
Rodríguez also requested that an ex officio investigation be initiated against Arelys del Carmen Gonzáles, deputy director of Anati in the province of Chiriquí; Dioselina Gaitán, regional director of the Ministry of Social Development in Bocas del Toro, and Benicio Robinson, since they allegedly used state resources in the last PRD internal elections.
In the complaint, the deputy explained that last Friday, March 25, 2022, at the Ciudad de David hotel, on the third floor, Mrs. Arelys Del Carmen Gaitán met and sat down with a man and communicated with all the applicants. to the lists of delegates of the PRD Congress and gave them an Xtra bonus of $120 and $100 in cash in an envelope, indicating that he was delivering that envelope in his name and in the name of deputy Benicio Robinson to strengthen their aspirations to the CEN of the Party and Female front.
The document containing the complaint details that outside the Hotel Ciudad de David, in the city of David, was the mother of Arelys del Carmen Gaitán, who works in the direction of Mides in Chiriquí, directing people and indicating where the meeting had taken place. Supposedly, they were from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm distributing State resources.
He alleges that both Dioselina Gaitán and Arelys Del Carmen González are public officials and could not be distributing State resources (solidarity bonuses from Xtra and $100 to all the payrolls of David and Oriente Chiricano on behalf of Benicio Robinson.
It also requests that all aspiring delegates in David and Oriente Chiricano be called to testify under oath and ask them if they received $100 and an Xtra bonus from Mrs. Arelys Gonzáles on Friday, March 25, 2022. when they were asked to vote for her and deputy Benicio Robinson for the party’s CEN.
In the complaint, the deputy Zulay Rodríguez also asks to be called to testify and to ask for her cell phone, since she assures that she is willing to show where the messages of aspiring delegates and delegates appear, who narrated how they received the calls from Arelys Gonzáles to provide financial resources.
“I request an impartial investigation, since Deputy Benicio Robinson has stated that since the prosecutor is from the PRD, the pertinent investigations will not be carried out since he himself thinks that since he is part of the government, he is unpunished,” Rodríguez warned.
He announced that there are several people who are going to testify against Dioselina Gaitán for the alleged delivery of state resources.
He even said that he sent a message to the Minister of Social Development, Maria Inés Castillo, and warned her of what was happening with her subordinate. “María Inés, you know that this lady is attached to you and how it is possible that she is not in her working hours and distributions are being made, how it is possible that this girl Arelys Gonzales, who is deputy director of Anati, is also outside of office hours”, said the deputy.
Rodríguez presented two challenges before the National Elections Commission, after the alleged irregularities that occurred last Sunday during the internal electoral process of the PRD.
Irregularities that he went on to detail: “In these elections, records have disappeared, ballot boxes were stolen, records were burned without us having the opportunity to challenge them, votes were taken, the records were seized, they were crushed and thrown away, numbers were changed, the school door was closed. . These delegates have to do the count publicly, but they closed the school, they removed all the people, they could not have representatives and the count was done internally, with the delegates chosen by the party.
He argued that it also happened to hundreds of his co-partisans but that they have not been able to challenge because they do not have the $500 to present the challenge within the National Elections Commission.
