MINSA Strengthens Dengue Operations in Chiriqui
PANAMA, August 27, 2026 — Panama’s Health Ministry is reinforcing dengue-control operations in Chiriqui, one of the provinces with the highest number of reported cases.

Authorities are asking residents to eliminate mosquito breeding sites and cooperate with field teams. The ministry also warned that Chiriqui has registered two deaths, making prevention and early attention especially important as operations continue.
