IFARHU Says General Scholarship Payments Will Start Next Week
PANAMA, September 7, 2026 — IFARHU says payments for General Scholarship beneficiaries will begin next week through the new debit-card system.
Director Carlos Godoy said more than 200,000 cards have been delivered for scholarship payments, representing more than $35 million in disbursements. Beneficiaries who have collected their cards may already see funds reflected, according to the agency.
