It is “Labor Day” back in the US, and like many of the Ex-Pats that are now calling Panama home I encourage you to take this day to do something different and enjoy the day. All of us worked hard to get to be in a tropical paradise, and why the hell not take today to enjoy it?  Just MHO.

OP ED: Colon has been a shithole and armpit for an entirely too long time. These outer areas of Panama have needed to be addressed for decades (espescially BOCAS del TORO ) in order to truly maximize the “tourism” of PANAMA.  Honestly, NOBODY comes to Panama to hang out in Panama …
