Colon Development Plan Still Waiting for Implementation
PANAMA, August 29, 2026 — Groups in Colon say they are still waiting for Law 404, the province’s Integral Development Plan, to be implemented and funded.
The plan is meant to direct resources toward development, employment and economic activity in Colon. Local sectors are pressing for the funds established in the law to move from paper into concrete projects for the province.
