Fourth Panama Canal Bridge Project Advances Water-Network Relocation
PANAMA, September 7, 2026 — Work is continuing to relocate drinking-water networks as part of the Fourth Bridge over the Panama Canal project.
A 20-inch drinking-water line was interconnected on Sunday while work continued on another 10-inch line near piles E13 to E15. The activity is part of the infrastructure plan needed to move water-service networks around the bridge works.
