EX-PAT ALERT: Slight rise in New COVID infections

Panama registered 744 new infections of covid-19 in the last 24 hours and total up to this Tuesday, April 26, 772,830 confirmed cases. For this Tuesday, one death is reported, for a cumulative of 8,183 deaths and a lethality of 1.1%.

The number of people recovered from the disease amounts to 760,639; of them, 173 are newly recovered. 7,515 tests were applied for a positivity of 9.9%.

Active cases total 4,008, of which 3,933 are in home isolation and 75 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 3,919 at home and 14 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 71 in the ward and 4 in the ICU.
