Police Recover Pickup and Arrest Four in Chiriquí Aggravated Robbery Case
CHIRIQUI, August 9, 2026 – Police recovered a pickup and arrested four people, including three minors, in connection with an alleged aggravated robbery in Las Lomas, Chiriquí, Metro Libre reported.

According to the police account cited by the outlet, the vehicle owner provides transport service through a digital platform and went to the area after receiving a trip request.
When the driver arrived, he was allegedly threatened with a firearm, deprived of liberty and tied by the hands.
Police units later located and intercepted the vehicle on the Pan-American Highway. One adult and three minors were found aboard and apprehended, according to the report.
