Elvia Lau, national director of Pharmacy and Drugs of the Minsa, said that at the meeting the representatives of the companies reviewed the selection bases.
Lau recalled that this Monday, June 19, that same group of representatives was making their defenses and inquiring about what are the critical knots that in their opinion are seen in the bases of this tender.
The official explained that as stipulated after this meeting, the concerns of the company delegates will be brought before the Cannabis Technical Council, which is the one that can make the addenda to the bases.
“This is the second part of the process and thus be able to grant licenses in the future,” recalled Lau.
The bases of this tender establish that interested parties have until August 29 to request clarifications and ask the corresponding questions on the website.
Meanwhile, the National Directorate of Pharmacy and Drugs of the Minsa has until September 5, to answer all the concerns of those interested in the licenses.
“After this, the interested parties have until September 18 to deliver their proposals and on September 19 the envelopes will be opened, which will be sealed and guarded until that day,” Lau reported.
Afterwards, an evaluation commission will review each of the proposals and inform which companies meet the requirements stipulated in the law and which do not.
Subsequently, the commission will be in charge of recommending to the National Directorate of Pharmacy and Drugs which are the ones that should have the licenses, the maximum is seven.
