As a veteran of war, I definitely observe MEMORIAL DAY in the US, and as such I did not post. I would like to believe the sacrifice made by both men and women over the years reflects more of what the US as a country “aspires to be”, as opposed to what we are exhibiting to the world presently. The horrific events of Texas last week just resonated even MORE as to how far we have fallen from the basic human ethics AMERICA strives to uphold.
