IDAAN Launches Panama Without Leaks Operation in Eastern Capital
PANAMA, September 5, 2026 — IDAAN has deployed 96 workers in 20 crews to repair major drinking-water leaks across Tocumen and 24 de Diciembre.
The operation is targeting more than 20 locations and is scheduled to continue through Sunday, September 6. IDAAN also completed two connections on 24-inch lines near the Tapia River bridge. The programme has now carried out 15 operations and accumulated 1,082 repairs in the Metropolitan Region.
