The deputy and presidential candidate for Cambio Democrático (CD), Yanibel Ábrego, arrived accompanied by Ricardo Martinelli, presidential candidate for Realizando Metas (RM), to exercise her right to vote at the Federico Boyd bilingual school, in Capira, in the primary elections of that political group, to choose their electoral offer for the electoral elections of May 5, 2024.

Ábrego assured that this afternoon he will win and “the Electoral Tribunal will call us and they will announce our victory.”   (that did not happen, but that is not bad)

She reiterated that she will win to make an alliance with the founder of Cambio Democrático, Ricardo Martinelli. “Look who my alliance is with… what else do you want to invent!” Ábrego exclaimed, pointing to Martinelli, who was next to her.

“We have done the territorial work, we already won on March 19, today we will win resoundingly, because we want a real change for a better quality of life,” declared the presidential candidate.

She also said that he considers herself a fundamental part of the Cambio Democrático bases, a firm militant “who represents the bases, what do they want to see better days return and we are going to achieve it with a great alliance with Ricardo Martinelli”.

“Here what counts are the bases, popular power and we are going to win,” he said.

At 7:00 am the primary process of the Cambio Democrático party (CD) began.

A total of 306 thousand 549 members of the party are authorized to exercise the right to vote, where the presidential candidate will be chosen, 42 candidates for the position of mayor, 404 representatives of the corregimiento and 11 deputies of the National Assembly will be selected .
