Keep your ORANGE headed ass out of my F—ing Sport!!!! POLITICS have NO SPACE in WORLD CUP
“JB”
At this stage of my wonderful life, I have a few truly GUILTY PLEASURES that give me incredible joy. Sure I love the NFL and my CHICAGO BEARS, but nothing fills my cup like SOCCER. (or “Footy” to the true fans).
The WORLD CUP galvanzies the planet, even if it is just for a month every 4 goddamn years. So I implore that this loudmouth fuckface that doesn’t know squat about my sport and could not name 10 Premier League players if he tried, to stay out of the cup. The US has fielded it’s BEST team in my lifetime, and he has ZERO to do with it.
He involvement is so self motivated it is laugahble. The kid deserved a RED. They are good enough to beat BELGIUM without him. Just go to your FREEDOM 250 disaster with 400 attendees and watch your Kenny Rogers Tribute Band do a cover of “Islands in the Stream” in front of your particle board “Arc de Triumphe”. Ass clown.

FIFA suspends Folarin Balogun’s red card, meaning he will be eligible to play against Belgium in the round of 16
Miracle or favoritism? Everything we know about the ‘Balogun Case’ that is tarnishing the 2026 World Cup
US President Donald Trump admitted on Monday that he intervened directly with FIFA to request a review of the red card shown to striker Folarin Balogun during the US national team’s match at the 2026 World Cup.
The confession, made at a press conference at the White House, sparked intense debate about the independence of sports organizations and political influence on disciplinary decisions.
Trump explained that, after Balogun’s expulsion in the match against South Korea, he considered the sanction unfair and decided to contact FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
“It wasn’t even a foul, it was just two players who collided. All I did was ask for a review, I didn’t say what decision they should make ,” said the president, who also called Brazilian referee Raphael Claus “suspicious” for his performance.

UEFA calls FIFA’s decision on Folarin Balogun “unprecedented”
Extent
FIFA agreed to review the play and ultimately lifted the ban, allowing Balogun to be eligible to play in the crucial round of 16 match against Belgium on Monday.
Trump celebrated the decision as “brilliant” and asserted that his intervention was in defense of sports justice and the national team.
However, the decision sparked immediate international reactions. The Belgian Football Association filed an appeal questioning the striker’s eligibility, while UEFA expressed its “incredulity” at the ruling, warning that such precedents could damage the tournament’s credibility.
Sports analysts pointed out that political intervention in disciplinary decisions breaks with FIFA’s tradition of autonomy and opens the door to external pressures in future championships.
The Balogun case has become a symbol of the tension between politics and sport. While the player prepares to face Belgium, the debate over the legitimacy of his participation continues in federation offices and in the international media.
The controversy not only affects the development of the World Cup, but also raises questions about the role of political leaders in the decisions of global sports organizations.
