PANAMA CITY, July 22, 2026 – The Ministry of Health canceled the sanitary registration of a Nivea Sun Protect & Refresh sunscreen product and instructed businesses to remove the affected item from sale.
Telemetro reported that MINSA’s National Directorate of Pharmacy and Drugs issued the measure for a product identified as SPF 50, 200 ml, with sanitary registration BMHCA-150417. Authorities urged distributors and commercial establishments not to sell the product and asked consumers to report any continued availability.
