The Savings Bank reached a record number in its profit of last year, reaching $ 41 million dollars.

Likewise, the bank reported that it was able to increase its operational efficiency index from 77% in 2014 to 59% in 2017, positively impacting the economic benefits for the institution and the quality of its services.

The results were presented this week by the bank, along with the balance of the business, figures for 2017 and the current situation of the bank, as well as its achievements, challenges and prospects for this year 2018.

At the end of 2017, total deposits were $ 3,366 million, which compared to December 2016, represent an increase of 15.8%, which shows, according to the bank, the scope of the various initiatives aimed at promoting the good habit of the saving.
