Surprise. Varela back in CHINA.

The President of the Republic, Juan Carlos Varela, arrived after 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, local time (Tuesday, November 6 at 3:00 p.m.) at the Pudong International Airport in Shanghai.

The president was received by the Chancellor of the People’s Republic of China, Qin Gang, who visited Panama on October 20.

The president came accompanied by the vice chancellor, Luis Miguel Hincapié.

Varela will participate along with other Panamanian businessmen at the Shanghai trade fair. This event will receive more than 130 countries around the world and will attend more than 150 thousand visitors in 5 days.
