During his participation in the General Assembly of the United Nations , the president of Panama, Juan Carlos Varela, was reunited with the president of the United States, Donald Trump, and his wife, Melania .

The Panamanian president shared an image in his Twitter account, where he appears posing with his American counterpart and the first lady. He accompanied this image with the following message: “During the Assembly of the United Nations, I had the opportunity to greet President Donald Trump and the First Lady, and express the commitment of our country to continue strengthening the relationship in the common causes that we work together “ He finished his message with the hashtag #PanamaEEUU .
