The scare of his life got a man who was attacked by a crocodile when he was crossing the La Toyoza ravine, in the district of Cañazas, province of Veraguas.
The man managed to get away from the animal, but suffered serious injuries to one of his legs, so he had to be taken to the emergency room in Cañazas hospital.
The residents of Llano Grande, Las Minitas and nearby communities urgently ask the new authorities to build bridges or fords that allow safe passage through rivers and streams in this sector of the country.
With the first rains, these crossing points become more dangerous and put even children walking to school, as well as older adults, at risk.
In this case, the crocodile attack occurred in a shallow part of the ravine, which allowed the man to escape and ask for help, according to what the people who helped the victim told El Siglo.
