Panama hosts environmental and maritime safety meeting

Officials from the Security and Environment portfolios of Panama, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Colombia will meet this Friday in the Panamanian capital to review cooperation in those sectors.

The Ministry of Public Security of Panama reported today that the head of that office, Alexis Bethancourt and his Costa Rican colleague, Gustavo Mata, will attend the meeting. There will also be the Vice Ministers of Environment of Panama, Yamil Sánchez, and of Costa Rica, Fernando Mora, as well as official delegations from Colombia and Ecuador.
