Authorities seized 1,632 drug packages throughout the country
During the last 72 hours, the Security forces apprehended 630 people and seized 1,632 drug packages throughout the country.
Operation Beta was developed at a national level; among the apprehensions: 325 were for trades, 209 for administrative offenses, 55 for flagrante delicto, 33 for micro-trafficking and 8 for drug trafficking.
125 search procedures were carried out where a boat, two cars, 13 firearms, 309 ammunition, B/.1, 429.25 in cash were seized and 8 vehicles that had a complaint for theft and robbery were recovered.
Meanwhile, they carried out 4 emergency evacuations and 4,563 foreigners were detected with expired stays, evasion of immigration controls, and warning impediments, among others.
The National Directorate of Transit Operations placed 5,519 violations of the Traffic Regulations, of these 1,353 were for speeding, 139 for proven drunkenness and 62 for alcoholic breath.
