Primary of the Panamenista to be held October 28

The  Panameñista Party announced that on October 28 will be held primary elections to choose the presidential candidate of that political group, facing the elections of 2019.

That day will also be chosen candidates for deputies, mayors, representatives of corregimientos and councilors.

All members legally registered in the party, on May 5, 2018, who are residents in the respective district, as established in the resolution presented by the party to the Electoral Tribunal, may participate in these primaries.

The primary elections will be carried out by means of “secret, equal, free and direct voting”, says the document signed by José Luis Varela , president of the group, and Adolfo Valderrama , general secretary.
