Parade in Boquete marks anniversary

Today there will be school competitions and tomorrow recognition will be made to boqueteños coffee growers

Chiriqui Under a pleasant climate and fertile land, the district of Boquete, in Chiriqui, on April 11 celebrates its 107 years of foundation, so they have prepared an agenda of activities that began this weekend.

Tomas Ruíz, president of the Board of Celebrations and Integral Development of Boquete, explained that there have already been sports meetings, exhibition of classic cars and the choice of Srta. April 11, 2018.

Today there will be school competitions and tomorrow recognition will be given to boqueteños coffee growers. On April 11, the anniversary day, activities start with the Mass at the San Juan Bautista church, as well as the cultural, institutional, health and agricultural fair. There will also be parades of independent schools and bands, as well as folkloric presentations.
