International Fair of Azuero gets more entries than expected

The fifty-sixth version of the International Fair of Azuero (FIA), which is held in La Villa de Los Santos until May 1, is exceeding all expectations regarding the entry of visitors.

This was announced by Alberto Castillero Pinilla , president of the board, who said that from April 19 to 22, 65 thousand people entered the fair grounds, that is, 5 thousand more than last year for this same date.

Similarly, he indicated that on 23, 24 and 25 April, the board endorsed the free entry to the fairgrounds.

He said, “we are giving the opportunity to people of limited economic resources who also participate in our fair.”

The president of the board of trustees of the FIA ​​trusted that they expect that the next weekend, which coincides with the payment of the fortnight and with the national holiday day, increase the number of visitors.
