CALI FIRES CAUSE UPTICK in EX-PAT TRAVEL-

OP ED: “JB”

The US Dept. of Immigration has seen more Americans either applying, updating, or revising their travel documents in the aftermath of the decimating fires that have wiped out much of Newport Beach and Malibu.

Be it owners who have personally been displaced leaving to use a vacation or rental property abroad, or people allowing friends and family to use while they try to rebuild from the ash. Americans are traveling to Ex-Pat and retiree locales like Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, and Belize in greater numbers.

I have friends in Cabo and Cancun that this comes at a time where they generally use these properties for income, as BOTH Mexican cities are very popular SPRING BREAK locales.

Indeed, this largest FIRE disaster in the history of the USA has caused a ripple effect.
To think that most Fire Inspectors feel it is a result of deliberate arson, simply fuels the conspiracy theorists.

Saludos-
