Assembly Approves Audible Traffic Lights for People With Disabilities
PANAMA, August 20, 2026 — Bill 464 passed its third and final debate and requires traffic signals to include sound technology under accessibility standards.

Panama’s National Assembly approved legislation requiring traffic lights to be fitted with audible devices for people with disabilities. Technical and accessibility rules are to be defined by the ATTT and SENADIS.
