SENNIAF Says 51 Children and Adolescents Are Eligible for Adoption in Panama
PANAMA CITY, August 13, 2026 – Panama child and family authority says 51 children and adolescents are currently in adoptability status and may be considered for integration into an adoptive home, Metro Libre reported.
SENNIAF also reported that 36 families have been declared suitable to adopt after completing evaluation, training and preparation stages required by national law.
Of those families, 31 are national families and five are international families, according to the report.
The institution said adoption procedures must always consider the best interests of the child and follow the legal framework designed to protect minors.
