Panama ordered to lift the physical distancing, capacity and sanitary measures for travelers dictated due to covid-19.
The measures taken by the Government are reflected in Executive Decree 122 of September 14, which has the signature of the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo, and the Minister of Health.
As of its promulgation, physical distancing is eliminated, as well as the capacity in places of great concurrence, which have been maintained to avoid an increase in cases by Covid-19, just as the provision establishes that the QR and swabs will not be requested . to travelers entering the country.
However, the Ministry of Health (MINSA) as rector of the State’s health policies, reiterates to the population to maintain self-care measures and the use of the mask in crowded places as a preventive measure, especially in older people. 60 years and those with chronic diseases.
Likewise, the Minsa emphasizes the importance of completing its vaccination schedule against Covid-19 and also applying its booster doses, since the vaccines have proven to be effective and safe.
This Executive Decree recalls Executive Decree No. 852 of September 29, 2021, Executive Decree No. 102 of July 1, 2022, Resolution No. 405 of May 11, 2020, Resolution No. 2552 of October 1, 2021.
