The most critical points, of the 12 presented by the living forces in a list, were those related to public health and the supply of drinking water.

This agreement was achieved with the intervention of the President of the Republic, Juan Carlos Varela, who arrived at about 8:10 p.m. on Thursday at the Manuel Niño airport in Changuinola.

The president appeared at the negotiation table that had been installed since 11:00 am, but that, until then, had not reached any agreement.

At the end of the talks, Varela said he was “satisfied” by the agreements reached with the living forces of the province. Bull.

“Here there is a great advance in housing, in the law of special retirement, in the MOP, the Meduca … there was a specific issue in public health, that’s why the director of the CSS [ Alfredo Martiz ], the minister of Health [ Miguel Mayo ], the Minister Counselor [Temístocles Díaz] since there were some issues to be corrected, “said the president.
