According to the official report, 907 cases of trauma, 24 burns, 64 food poisonings, and 59 vehicle accidents were reported, in addition to five deaths recorded during this period.

In terms of emergencies, the Ministry of Health carried out 630 medical transfers: 268 by land, 2 by water, 5 by air, 270 inter-hospital and 85 pre-hospital, as part of the national coverage operation.

3,713 traffic violations were reported, including 766 for speeding.

Meanwhile, the Environmental Sanitation and National Directorate of Food Control and Veterinary Surveillance (Dinacavv) teams conducted 3,795 inspections of sales outlets. They also checked 6,544 food handlers, finding 422 who did not have the required health certificate.

During the inspections, 289 products were seized and destroyed, 43 fines were issued, and 55 citations were given. Additionally, of the 863 tanker trucks inspected, nine were rejected for failing to meet health standards.

Authorities reiterated that surveillance and medical care operations will continue to safeguard the health of the population during the celebrations.
