Event. The producers of special coffee are already in the final stages of preparation of their lots to face the Geisha, Pacamaras and traditional varieties, in the XXII International Tasting of Best of Panama, which will take place from May 22 to 26, in the district of Boquete.
Francisco Serracín, member of the Association of Special Coffee of Panama, explained that they are in the organization of the event that includes determining the profile of roasting, tasting and calibration of the points to be evaluated among the national judges, to make a preliminary selection, a week before the international event.
They have contemplated applying changes, which include those batches that were processed as honey (the coffee that dries with the mucilage) to place them in the category of natural and not in the washings as was the case before.
