The Minister of the Presidency, Álvaro Alemán, lamented that leaders of the province of Colón insist on a new strike call, despite the fact that there is a multi-thematic dialogue table headed by state ministers and directors of different public entities to find solutions to different problems that this province faces.
Alemán, on behalf of the government, indicated that despite the fact that last March 19 the table was established that seeks, through a consensus, to avoid confrontations, the leadership has opted to “condition” them to the issuance of a resolution or executive decree.

Alemán reiterated the Executive’s willingness to maintain dialogue so as not to disturb public order.
This dialogue seeks to find solutions to the problems that afflict the colonized population in matters of health, education, employment and the effects of the Urban Renovation project.
“We can not acquire commitments of that kind beyond what is our responsibility in our management,” said the minister, noting that the commitment of the current administration is to work until the last day of management with responsibility.
“This is a government of dialogue, willing to seek consensus solutions, but can not be allowed to pressures through majorities.” He expressed German.
