Supreme Court rejects Martinelli request for Constitutional Guarantees

The plenary session of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) did not admit, because it was not timely, an amparo of constitutional guarantees to exmandatario Ricardo Martinelli , as part of the investigation that is followed by the supposed commission of the crime of embezzlement in the purchase of dehydrated food through the extinct National Aid Program (PAN) .

The amparo sought to nullify the request of the fiscal magistrate in this case, Oydén Ortega , to obtain information from a bank account of businessman Javier Pariente , who was linked to the case of dehydrated food.
