Former Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, brother of King Charles III, was released under investigation by British police almost 11 hours after his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office in connection with the Epstein case.

Thames Valley Police, who are leading the investigation, confirmed today in a brief statement that they had released a man “in his sixties” under investigation. He had been arrested this Thursday in Norfolk (eastern England), and they had concluded their inquiries in the area, without identifying him as Andrés.

However, the former Duke of York, who turned 66 today, was photographed this Thursday inside a car as he left the police station in the town of Aylsham, in Norfolk (eastern England), where he had been questioned by the authorities after being arrested this morning at his private estate in Sandringham.

In the image, taken almost 11 hours after his arrest, Andrés can be seen reclining in the back seat of the vehicle with his eyes wide open and his hands clasped.

Thames Valley Police, the force to which Windsor belongs, where Andrew resided until his recent forced departure from his Royal Lodge mansion, indicated that the investigation into several properties in the Berkshire region is still ongoing.
