US President Donald Trump has once again stirred controversy by releasing private messages exchanged with international leaders, a practice he has used to influence the global political agenda. After recently releasing correspondence with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, he published screenshots of conversations with French President Emmanuel Macron and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on Tuesday .

Through his social network Truth , Trump disseminated messages in which Macron proposes holding a G-7 summit in Paris , and even suggests inviting Russia, which would mark a significant shift in the international stance since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.

According to the messages—whose authenticity was confirmed by sources close to the French president—the proposal would also include the participation of Ukraine , as well as Denmark , to address the issue of Greenland . In one of the exchanges, Macron points out areas of agreement with Trump on issues such as Syria and Iran, while expressing his bewilderment at the US position on the Danish territory.

The French president is also proposing a bilateral dinner in Paris and suggesting parallel meetings with Ukrainian, Danish, Syrian, and Russian representatives, in an attempt to open spaces for diplomatic dialogue amid persistent geopolitical tensions.

US President Donald Trump also claimed to have had a “very good conversation” with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. In screenshots shared by the president, Rutte can be seen praising what he called the “incredible” results of the US operation in Syria, and expressing optimism about the possibility of finding a joint solution to the Greenland issue.
