Given the massive fraudulent affiliation of foreigners in the  Social Security Fund (CSS) and the delivery of irregular peace and save in the General Directorate of Income (DGI) , two executive decrees were enacted yesterday that eliminate these procedures to regulate and renew permits immigration for foreigners in the country.

The CSS and the DGI requested the amendment of two articles of the executive decrees of May 2015 and June 2016, signed by President Juan Carlos Varela, which included them in the immigration regulation.

They maintained that this requirement has caused “many damages and inconveniences” to these entities, due to the volume of people seeking their regularization.
