U.S. Southern Command Airlifts School Bridge Materials to Ngabe-Bugle
NGABE-BUGLE COMARCA, August 2, 2026 – United States Southern Command helicopters transported construction materials for a bridge intended to improve school access in the community of Mayo, in the Ngabe-Bugle comarca.
Metro Libre reported that CH-47 Chinook and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters moved the materials as part of an effort to provide safer and more constant access for students traveling to educational centers.
