OP ED: James “JB” Bryson– Taking a moment while looking at the Atlantic ocean on a beautiful day today just to reflect. The overwhelming conclusion I come to is ” I have much better shit to do then open this site every day“. We are staying in the US for the duration of the holiday season to spend time with my amazing family and gift of a granddaughter.
Truth be told, this site has just given me a huge migraine. The goals are simple. A) Share opinions on topics I care about B) Raise awareness about the environment of Panama which has become my new home C) Help Ex-Pats, especially Americans, with any issues they have assimilating to a new country. THAT’S IT.
2019 has seen it become far more taxing than what we set out for it to be. Quite simply, it has become a pain in my ass. Guys, ever deal with a pissed off wife????? Well you know my pain then.
She was sold on Politics, Environmental issues, New eateries, and Pics of the ballet. Instead she has gotten “The BOURNE IDENTITY”. I post way too much on ODEBRECHT, and that get’s me harassed. I am critical way too much of Varela, and that get’s me harassed. I try to learn about a land issue in Bocas del Toro, and that get’e me harassed, threatened, legally, and contacted daily.
It’s good to be home right now, and if something itches me to post maybe I will. In the meantime, I hope all can do the same and enjoy your holiday’s and focus on the shit that is important.
