The inventory of air frequencies is expanded. Several airlines have announced new frequencies from Panama in order to expand their service in the region and meet the demand of their customers.

As of November 3 of this year, the German airline Lufthansa will add an additional frequency to its route Panama City-Frankfurt, totaling six flights per week.

“Since the launch of the route, two years ago, we have seen a growth in demand not only from the business sector, but also from leisure travelers interested in flying to Europe and beyond,” said Felipe Bonifatti, general manager of the Lufthansa Group airlines for Central America and the Caribbean.

Another airline that expands its service is Delta Air Lines, which from October 1, 2018 will increase access between New York and the Caribbean with a second daily flight to Nassau, Bahamas.

In addition, a new daily service to Kingston, Jamaica, will begin operations on December 20, 2018 and another service on Saturday in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, will begin on December 22, 2018, according to Chuck Imhof, vice president of sales for New York and the east.
