The rainy season will be brought forward 10 days in Western Chiriquí, central Veraguas, Coclé and western Herrera and Los Santos

This Tuesday, April 5, the city of Panama woke up with a downpour, which is part of the transition process from the dry to the rainy season in the country.

The Electricity Transmission Company (Etesa) detailed, on Monday, April 4, that since the second half of March the process of transition from the dry to the rainy season began in Panama.

Etesa reported that the Hydraulic Resources Committee held the April forum for Central America and from the analyzes obtained it was detailed that the transition process will last until the second half of May.

The rainy season will be brought forward 10 days for the area of ​​Western Chiriquí, central Veraguas, Coclé and western Herrera and Los Santos. Meanwhile, for West and East Panama it will be five days. In Darien, Panama and South Veraguas it will be normal.

Etesa explained that for the month of April “a normal behavior with a trend above normal is expected for the western region of the country, Chiriquí, central Veraguas and southern Coclé.

For the northern region of Veraguas, Colón with a downward trend than normal and for the rest of the country a normal trend.
