Newly cemented “Pussy” of Panama changes the low hanging fruit in Cabinet. NOT the real problems.

Ol’ Nito continued his empty rants of transparency and change, by firing the Minister of Health as a result of Covid. Another huge cop out on promises of change. This was a patsy move. The REAL changes on his cabinet are the slick US college educated scumbags that tried to profit from COVID. Namely his goddamn VP. Keep it up Nito, keep rummaging around your trousers, your sure to find your balls in there at some point in time. At least we hope so.

The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo, made changes on three ministries of the presidential cabinet on Wednesday afternoon.

At a press conference, the departure of former Health Minister Rosario Turner was announced and former vice minister Luis Francisco Sucre was appointed as minister of this portfolio. Iveth Odalis Berrío was appointed as Vice Minister of Health.

Similarly, the Minister of Housing and Land Management, Inés Samudio, was replaced by Rogelio Paredes, who served as deputy minister of Miviot.

Meanwhile, Markova Concepción, who until today was the Minister of Social Development (Mides), was replaced by María Inés Castillo López. President Cortizo announced that Markova Concepción will be Panama’s ambassador to the United Nations in New York.

Although Cortizo highlighted the work of former minister Rosario Turner in the face of the covid-19 pandemic that affects the country, he did not explain the reasons for the ex-official’s departure.

“The evolution of the current situation in the country finds us over time with the arrival of the first year of government, which raises the need to make adjustments to its structures that allow us to continue programmatically to the goals established for the term of our mandate, “said the ruler.

She indicated that the country has an unpayable debt with Dr. Turner, “under whose leadership we face, with determination and courage, the fight against this dark pandemic. In the most difficult moments of this situation she knew how to guide us with prudent wisdom, but also with hand firm, “he said.

Cortizo stated that he has summoned all the heads and hierarchical levels of the government to redouble efforts in the purpose they share with society, to fight inch by inch against the pandemic, so that it is not allowed to deepen the inequality gap in our country .

“We have to get out of this circumstance together and I am convinced that we can achieve it as we have done so many times throughout our history,” he emphasized.
