Respected COLOMBIAN hotel franchise is re-opening locales in PANAMA.

History and culture were some of the main attractions for GH Hotels to return to Canal land.

The Colombian hotel franchise GHL Hoteles announced its return to the Panamanian market with the start of the transition process to assume operation of the Radisson Hotel Panama Canal, located a few steps from the Convention Center and minutes from the Fuerte Amador cruise port.

“Returning to Panama is an exciting step for GHL, not only for what it represents in terms of expansion, but also for the opportunity to reconnect with a destination steeped in history, culture, and hospitality,” said Andrés Fajardo, president of GHL Hotels.

He added, “We took over the operation of the Radisson Hotel Panama Canal with the firm intention of generating value for Hoteles del Caribe, which has trusted our track record and experience to optimize its investment and continue offering travelers a high-quality experience.”

Guillermo Quijano D., president of Hoteles del Caribe SA, acknowledged that GHL Hoteles is the most suitable operator to manage the Radisson Hotel Panama Canal.

“After a rigorous process to select the new operator, we confirmed that GHL meets all the essential requirements to carry out this initiative. We are convinced that their proven experience operating 63 hotels in Latin America, along with their vision to further enhance our legacy, will be key to achieving the expected results,” said Guillermo Quijano D.

With this transaction, GHL will maintain a presence in ten countries in the region, strengthening its experience operating international brands such as Radisson.

The Radisson will offer 250 rooms, meeting and event spaces, a pool, and restaurants. It also offers access to iconic sites such as the Panama Canal, the Miraflores Locks, and the Old Town.

With its return to Panama, GHL promises sustainable growth, as the company will continue to develop a management approach focused on quality, innovation, and strengthening relationships with employees, guests, and strategic partners.
