Influenza. With a total of 13 deaths due to influenza, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) called on the population to get vaccinated and if they feel symptoms go to the doctor with their respective mask.

The director of the Metropolitan Health Region of Minsa, Israel Cedeño explained that the first thing is to get vaccinated, especially if it is a person with diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity.

‘Children must have their full vaccinations, now, if you are a person with nasal congestion, bone pain, fever and cough, the first thing you have to do is go to a health center to be evaluated and the second, if you go to move from his house he has to do it with a mask and all the biosecurity measures.

He added that the transmission of influenza is through coughing and contamination with secretions.
