Panama residents and ex-pats alike are well aware that the tropical beauty that surrounds Panama, does exactly that. “It SURROUNDS Panama”. As in Bocas, Contadora, etc. Panama City for the most part is a urban skyline that attracts the casino crowd. But beyond the pool areas at the better hotels, not much in the way of tropical tourism.  Below are 10 spots the Department of Tourism are promoting urban visitors to frequent.

Casco Viejo, famous for its colonial-era sites; the Anton Valley, with a pleasant climate and various tourist sites to visit; are some of the options to spend a pleasant moment.
