Germany and Spain eye Panama during Adventure Week for its biodiversity

Around 15 buyers of tourist destinations from Germany, Austria, Canada, China, Spain, the United States, France and the Netherlands will be in Panama in the first version of AdventureWeek, in which they will learn about the country’s biodiversity and culture, the Authority announced today. of Tourism of Panama (ATP).

The activity will take place from May 27 to June 3, organized together with the World Tourism Association of Adventure (ATTA, for its acronym in English) and will have the participation of tour operators, travel agents, bloggers and media international communication.

The itinerary will include activities in Gatun Lake, which feeds the Panama Canal, tours of the Miraflores locks of the interoceanic highway, the historic Casco Viejo of the city; and visits to the Museum of Biodiversity, to the Emberá indigenous community and to the highlands of Boquete, where special coffee varieties are grown very well quoted in international markets.

This looks like a lot of fun. I was in Bocas a few years back and although it is murder to get too, the eco trips can be fun.
