The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has ordered this Wednesday the increase in the salaries of those soldiers stationed in Ukraine since they are linked to the international currency market in a context in which the dollar loses strength against the ruble.

Likewise, the Russian president has called for strengthening social support for those military families, especially those who have been injured or have died in the context of the war, according to the Russian news agency TASS.

Putin has thus adhered to the proposal of the governor of the Primorye region, Oleg Kozhemiako, who aimed to reinforce with special attention the social benefits for the children of the fallen or wounded soldiers. “It would be a good addition to the support measures that are being put in place at the federal level,” he has said.

This same Wednesday, Putin went to a military hospital in the capital, Moscow, where he was accompanied by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, and took the opportunity to greet some of those wounded in combat.
