Cable & Wireless denies they used SIPE dishonestly

Cable & Wireless Panama , responsible for the support and maintenance of  the Income and Economic Benefits System (SIPE) of the Social Security Fund (CSS) , assured that it has no interference in “the dishonest practices of the users of that platform”.

The company made the previous clarification after the publications in the media, including the newspaper La Prensa , about an embezzlement of more than 300 million in the Social Security Fund, which implies the use of the SIPE.

Cable & Wireless clarified that “once the delivery of the project to the institution was fulfilled” it does not participate in the processes that are part of its execution and “we only provide technical support”.
