The politics are getting more and more intense. Deputy Yanibel Ábrego seeks to dethrone the president of the Cambio Democrático (CD) party, Rómulo Roux.

He appeared with former President Ricardo Martinelli at a political event in Capira. He met with 11 CD representatives, deputies, leaders and bases.

Ábrego referred to the fact that she will be the new president of the CD while the former president spoke of the future and that he will be a candidate for the presidency of the Republic.

The deputy questioned Roux’s performance. She says that she sinks the party with her arrogance and lack of leadership. They hope that they will soon go to internal elections to remove him from the presidency of the political group.

It must be remembered that this Monday, October 3, Roux already had a replacement for the current head of the majority caucus of CD in the Assembly, so “she cannot be the candidate of the group in this electoral circuit.”

They had presented the son of former PRD deputy Zulay de Vásquez , Eduardo Vásquez, as the next candidate for deputy for Cambio Democrático in the 13-2 circuit.
