Zulay Rodríguez, at the head of the collection of signatures for president

The deputy not only seeks to maintain a seat within the Assembly but also aspires to the presidential chair in the next election.

Zulay Leyset Rodríguez Lu de Testa not only seeks to maintain a seat within the National Assembly but also aspires to the presidential seat in the next electoral contest of 2024.

According to data from the Electoral Tribunal, Rodríguez remains at the forefront in the process of collecting signatures for the pre-candidacy for President of the Republic; and in the second position of the pre-candidacy for deputies for PRESIDENT.

In the pre-candidacy for president, behind Zulay (with 14.93% and 5,868 accepted signatures), is Francisco Manuel Carreira Pitti (with 13.64% and 5,361 accepted signatures) and Eduardo Antonio Quiros Bernal (Quirós with 9.93% and 3,903 accepted signatures).

These are followed by Melitón Alejandro Arrocha Ruiz (with 8.89% and 3,495 accepted signatures); Katleen Nyree Levy García (6.50% and 2,553 signatures accepted); Dimitri Osmin Flores Posso (5.96% and 2,344 signatures accepted); María Vanessa Del Carmen Ford Rodgers (5.88% and 2,310 signatures accepted); Maribel Gordon Calderón (2.69% and 1,059 signatures accepted).

Pre-candidacy for deputies for the 8-2

In the pre-candidacy for deputies for the 8-2 circuit, the signature collection table is led by Luis Henrique Duke Walker with 24.79% and 754 accepted signatures; and in the second position is Zulay with 24.43% and 743 accepted signatures.

Close behind is Roberto Gabriel Nieto Ríos (21.01% and 639 signatures accepted; Alexandra Maria Brenes Samaniego De Vásquez (15.85% and 482 signatures accepted); Ángel Santos Ortega González (15.46% and 470 signatures accepted); and Jean Marcel Chery Ramos (15.06 % and 458 signatures accepted), respectively.
