UPDATE: Chilibre water plant back at 100% capacity

The water treatment plant Federico Guardia Conte, is working 100%, after completed the repair work on a pipe of 18 “that on Tuesday afternoon had presented a break in the area of Gonzalillo.
The information was confirmed by the Institute of National Aqueducts and Sewers from its official Twitter account.
The works culminated at approximately 2:00 am and the process of sending potable water in the city proceeded.
According to the institution, the affected pipeline receives water directly from the Federico Guardia Conte water treatment plant in Chilibre, so production was reduced by 50%.
Among the affected sectors were Rio Abajo, Lefevre Park, San Francisco, El Dorado, Pueblo Nuevo, La Cresta, La Locería, Betania, Miraflores, Miraflores Highlands, Dos Mares, Villa de Las Fuentes 1 and 2, Santa María, Hato Pintado, Altos de Panamá, Carrasquilla, Plaza Edison, Limajo, October 12th. Also, the high points of the district of San Miguelito, Panama Norte and all sectors far from the network that comprise Panama East from Pedregal to the Siesta de Tocumen may be affected. The sectors of Calidonia, Santa Ana, Perejil, San Felipe, El Chorrillo and Reverted Areas that are supplied by the water treatment plant of Miraflores are excepted.
